LILLIAN AXE To Perform At Benefit Concert In Dallas

April 11, 2008

New Orleans-based hard rockers LILLIAN AXE will perform at the American Cancer Society Benefit Race for Life this Saturday, April 12 at Reno's Chop Shop (210 N Crowdus St.) in Dallas, Texas.

LILLIAN AXE will enter the studio in June to begin recording the band's sixth studio and ninth overall album for a late 2008 release.

Commented guitarist Steve Blaze: "I haven't felt this creatively rejuvenated since I wrote the 'Psychoschizophrenia' album. The band is in top form and we are dying to get back on the road. Every day Eric calls me and says, 'When do we leave?'

Songtitles set to appear on the new CD include "Hibernate", "Kill Me Again" and "Blood Raining Down On Her Wings".

LILLIAN AXE's 1999 "Fields Of Yesterday" LP was reissued with two bonus tracks on December 10 as part of Z Records' 10th anniversary celebrations.

LILLIAN AXE's first new studio LP in nearly fifteen years (and first for the Metro City Records label),"Waters Rising" was released on July 17, 2007.
